We open the exhibition with a poster launch, plus newly commissioned text by horror film scholar, Dr Lindsay Hallam.
‘Sick Monday’ is a celebration of the ‘video nasty’, its influence on contemporary video artists, and its overlooked critical capacity to express social and political truths in an exuberant style.
Sick Monday is curated by Dean Kenning, Liam Scully and Vanessa Scully. It is supported by Arts Council England.

Day 7 of Disappearing Images, and the final event of the festival. Featuring live performance from Capital City with Wounder, and Angusraze.
A rare screening of Vive Le Punk [1993], an exclusive documentary made by Roger K Burton, featuring Malcolm McLaren & Vivienne Westwood. The couple were captured on film at the Horse Hospital on the eve of our very first exhibition, Vive Le Punk. We will also be displaying select pieces featured in the original exhibition.
