Arrows of Desire: Closing party and ritual

7pm - midnight, free (very limited capacity, RSVP essential)

To mark the end of ‘Arrows of Desire’, the art show celebrating the agony and ecstasy of Saint Sebastian, we will take down the exhibition and host a closing party with poetry, music and a live performance.

Performing the rite of Sebastian will be chaosquiyr, a brilliant duo whose mesmerising movie installation Divina Mortis is on rotation during the exhibition run.

In “DIVINA MORTIS - Arrows of Desire Closure“ chaosquiyr says goodbye to Sebastian. The show is over. Time to pack up your puppets and resume your journey: Sebastian, Diocletian, Irene, all back in the suitcase; Ego, martyrdom, sanctification, back in the trunk; arrows and desires, back in the coffin.

7:15 Jeremy Reed poetry reading dedicated to St Sebastian and Derek Jarman.

7:30 PRELUDE (30 mins approx.): open warm up for the artist and collaborators.
