Myuné: Invocation of Strength

A sacred concert with Myuné honoring Archangel Hanael. With a special performance by The Family Secret

Doors: 8pm

Tickets: £7-£10

This performance will be the second instalment of a 12 part tour around the UK and EU, which Myuné dedicates to each of the 12 Archangels.

The main idea of Myuné’s performance at The Horse Hospital an embodiment of an invocation of Archangel Hanael, The Sacred Warrior. Igniting an improvised musical set of 12 minutes with a live choir of five femme voices. Mixing Butoh practices with chant and music. Healing through chant and sending out a prayer with the power of Hanael to believe in our inner strength and willpower.

Amor Amezcua, under her solo project Myuné, presents a unique, experimental musical journey that began in Tijuana. Her debut album, Nothing that Matters, released in 2016, marked the beginning of an evocative and somewhat dark artistic endeavor. This was followed by a series of captivating volumes titled Moonlight Face (2019-2020), self-released through her record label Milovat. In 2022, Amor impressed the music world with Fuera de Lugar, released through the Mexican label Devil In The Woods. This album reflects her emotional evolution and showcases her talents in both music and audiovisual storytelling, offering a complete narrative experience.

Amor Amezcua's music career initially soared as a drummer, performing at major festivals like Coachella, SXSW, Desert Daze, Nrmal, and Ceremonia, and touring globally. Her music, rich in dreamy hues and contemplative synth and drum machine arrangements, creates an immersive experience, with melodies and rhythms interweaving in a tapestry of melancholy and beauty.
