movers' sonic social is an event that foregrounds grooves with gaps ~

From beats to melody and drones to silences we are rhythmically passing the torch. Musicians rotate for dances to occur, creating the common space. Everyone is encouraged to attend and build on the sonic elements. Shake your body for the shuffle to evolve ::::

Stjúpytt Radio Orchestra create dense sonic landscapes, terraforming sounds through radiowaves and analogue collision. Words, rhymes and voice weaves itself between the sludge.

Gabriele Dikciute

Gabriele Dikciute is a classically trained sound artist from Lithuania, whose artistic exploration encompasses sound processing utilising both acoustic and non-acoustic instruments in her practice.

Lorenzo Carbone & Ivan Santa bring flamenco song, joint vocal and rhythmic expression straight from the outskirts of Barcelona

Luisa D. Rozo crossfades between recordings from her lifetime’s auto-ethnographic researches and generated sounds as an internet fan-girl, in order to create landscapes and infrastructures that are weaved with her voice explorations of experimental Latin American folk song and rnb heartbreak melancholia.

Ravi Low-Beer plays drums, both arranged music with rock n roll band, MFC Chicken, and ska band, the Estimators, and improvised music with the Apocalypse Jazz Unit. This performance will be spontaneous percussion.

buny came about via sampler and diy spaces- tending to vocal improvisation on the spot. drawing on ragamash, a form of sampling where rhythms and timeslines collide, buny is attuning to places and people doing stirring.

ZEMA is a genre fluid Scottish DJ and producer who explores broadly across bass, techno, breaks, tribal and Latin rhythms. She loves to craft mixes in response to ideas and concepts to create musical stories that express her broad musical range and provide experiences that move crowds in their minds and bodies
