Launched on 19 August 2010, CUT! has already proved to be a hit with everyone that’s shown up – as can be seen in the visual evidence regularly posted on this Facebook page. It’s the start of something destined to be HUGE, so join us and have something to brag about!

Now that you have all the event details, here's a spoiler-free lowdown on AMER from BILLY CHAINSAW, BIZARRE’s notorious FILM EDITOR and your CUT! HOST for the 21 OCTOBER screening.
“At CUT! Vol 1 we screened the splatterific, zombie shoot-‘em-up delights of THE HORDE, while CUT! Vol 2 featured a squirm-inducing tale of visceral revenge calledTHE TORTURED. Now, following our EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED modus operandi, CUT! Vol 3 offers a night of mind-bending entertainment with the French/Belgian production AMER. For those of you that can’t stand subtitled movies, fear not: AMER is virtually dialogue free. It’s an aspect that not only heightens the film’s surreal nature, but also marks it as arthouse horror at its most magnificent, and a definite recommendation for fans of cerebral fear merchant DAVID LYNCH.
A llusciously eerie homage to 1970s Italian gialli cinema (a genre popularized by such legendary directors as Suspiria’s DARIO ARGENTO and Black Sunday’s MARIO BAVA), the film follows the title’s female protagonist as she journeys from a haunting, supernatural-steeped childhood, through her traumatic, adolescent sexual awakening, right up to adulthood – where murder becomes a constant companion.
It’s a SUCCULENTLY VISUAL FEAST of HORROR, SEX, CHILLS and THRILLS, that’s less a film and more of a stimulating assault on the senses – the kind of challenging and dreamlike viewing experience that will stay with you long after the credits have rolled.”
