Recorded in the Stockholm archipelago with a Bristol trip-hop heartbeat, Whiskey became an instant classic. Tracks like “So Tell the Girls That I Am Back in Town” and “Believe in Us” introduced his signature sound film noir arrangements, jazzy crooner vocals, and a haunting elegance that made him one of the 1990s’ most unique voices.
