CEASELESS VI

The sixth iteration of experimental night CEASELESS, featuring Alexandre Montserrat, Josef Kurtz, Siren and Susu Laroche

Doors 7:30pm
Tickets: £10-15

Ceaseless - created by Siren & Alexander Montserrat circa 2023- has carved out space for emerging artists in London working outside the usual circuits. Now in its sixth iteration, it has quietly become a consistent platform for artists operating between experimental music and club culture. The series refuses fixed geography, moving nomadically between basements, churches, and club spaces across the city - each venue chosen for its sonic capacity rather than its postcode.

Ceaseless programs around intensity and intent. The nights are built as much for endurance as for pleasure. It's pulled together a committed audience hungry for music that takes risks, and artists willing to privilege sensation and instinct over marketability.

Alexandre Montserrat is a composer, producer, performer, and artist whose work spans high-concept composition, site-specific installation and live AV performance.

Since 2023, their work has expanded toward installation, club performance and audiovisual composition developing works that move between live electronics, moving image, and bass-driven club forms. These projects have brought them into dialogue with international art and music contexts including ICA London, OOT Festival, Frontier Tower in San Francisco, StrongRoom in London, Replika Teatro in Madrid, and a screening during Frieze Week, London.

Montserrat is also the co-founder of 邊界 / biānjiè.systems, a cultural research and artistic production studio. In May, 邊界 curated and participated as artists in Rhizome’s 7x7, reframing the program as a container for emergence and bringing together practitioners whose work collapses the distinction between artistic production and technical research.

As a performer, Montserrat has appeared alongside artists including Felix Lee, Oxhy, and Debit. In September, they will perform at Lunchmeat Festival in Prague with Debit, with further upcoming performances including CTM Festival 2027.

JOSEF KURTZ is an artist based in London.

His work, equal parts emotive & alien, breaks a window into a darkly psychedelic dream state, where genre tropes express and depress themselves in a mania of sounds and textures.
He has performed across the UK, evidence of past outings often washed away like the destruction of a buddhist mandala, remaining only in memory and word-of-mouth. He has recently begun a new emergence.

Siren is an artist from London blending post-punk influences with atmospheric, ambient soundscapes. Her music moves through ethereal textures, moody tones, and raw lyrics, creating a sound that feels both distant and deeply intimate. Built on shadowy melodies and immersive production, Siren draws listeners into a haunting, captivating world where emotion, atmosphere, and grit collide.

Susu Laroche is an anagram of Chaos Lure Us and a multidisciplinary artist & musician.

Her 16mm short films have screened internationally including at London Short Film Festival (UK), Samawah Cinema (Iraq) and Nihilist Film Festival (USA). A comprehensive DVD collection of her cinematic work was released by Purge.xxx in 2023, while her debut photobook Chaos Rule Us was published by Wrong Eye Books in 2021.
Following releases with Xquisite, Haunter Records and Accidental Meetings, her third album War Against the Lie was released in 2025 on Doyenne, following the launch of a collaborative project with Mobbs on Modern Love.
