WE ARE HIRING
We’re looking for an additional Venue Manager.
To begin with, this job would be part-time and flexible, roughly 5-7 shifts per month with a view to potentially increase over time. Pay is £18.75 per hour. Average shift is 6-8 hours.
This opportunity is best suited to applicants who want to supplement other income at this time.

You would be suitable for this role if you have:
Experience managing a bar and/or venue.
Experience with basic AV tech.
Experience with basic hands-on installation for exhibitions, performances, etc.
Understanding of The Horse Hospital’s mission and familiarity with the cultural practices we program.
Confidence working under pressure, problem-solving and adapting to unpredictable situations.
Strong communication skills & interpersonal skills.
In this role, your responsibilities would include:
Ensuring that all operations in the venue are in compliance with licensing regulations, our sound limitation policy, fire safety protocols and health and safety policies.
Setting up the venue for events, sometimes in a lead role, sometimes working supportively alongside artists.
Liaising with artists and other THH team members in advance of events to prepare for smooth installation and running of events.
Ensuring all areas of the venue are clean and tidy at all times.
Regular reporting to venue manager team database after every shift.
Returning venue to neutral state after every event.
