The 'Shortbus' in John Cameron Mitchell's 2006 comedy is a weekly artistic/sexual play party that takes place in Brooklyn, attended by a diverse crowd of people intent on exploring their various sexual proclivities. The film draws inspiration from actual play parties that took place in the New York area in the early 2000s. Expect a playful exploration of bisexuality in this stylish, and inspiring sex-positive film.
