Captain Zip's Super8mm Trip
Captain Zip is digging deep into his enormous 8mm film library to put together a fantastic programme of Super8mm cult classics for the next Raindance Film Club. Some of the films to be shown include Georges Méliès 1911 wacky film Les Hallucinations du Baron de Munchaüsen, Disney's Skeleton Dance (weirdly banned in Sweden in 1929. Too many skulls perhaps?), and Princess Nicotine and the Smoke Fairy. The programme will feature some amazing hand selected soundtracks as well.
