The Horse Hospital Screening Room/Gallery
Built in 1797, The Horse Hospital is a unique venue situated in an unspoilt mews in the heart of Bloomsbury, midway between the West End and the fashionable art district of Spitalfields, with easy access from Russell Square underground, buses, and Kings Cross and Euston mainline stations.
Situated on the first floor of this beautiful building, the screening room/gallery offers a convivial and unusual environment for creative presentation, and is available to hire by the evening, day, week or month.
Original features such as entrance by Horse ramp, tethering rings, cast iron pillars and an amazing cobbled floor, make this an intriguing space with which to impress important clients.
We offer seating for around seventy five people, although further seating can be arranged upon request. Standing capacity (no seats) around one hundred and fifty.
CD/Tape decks are in house and a PA system, decks, mixing desk and microphones can also be supplied upon request. We have a bar area, and refreshments can be arranged.
The Horse Hospital has no inhouse caterers, so any green pea and mint puree with seared queenie scallops or tini tagine with saffron braised prawns and chermoula will be provided by the hirees.
Exclusive Day hire (10am - 5pm)
Exclusive Evening hire (6pm - 11pm)
Includes venue manager, duty manager, one after the event clean, use of sound system, lighting, furniture and heating that is in situ and duty technician to operate it.
Short lets are available and will be quoted on an individual basis.
